Start Procedure

You will be allotted a wave in groups of 20 swimmers. Please hand in your wave token when you enter the briefing area. After your briefing you will funnel into the start. You start as individuals by going past a scanner as you run into the water and swim. It is important that you let us know on how long you believe the swim will take you so we can put you in the right group.

Finish Procedure

You will need to go through the scanner on your way out of the water, this is to ensure everyone gets out of the water as well as giving you a time should you require it. Please then go to the finish desk and register that you have finished when you collect your hot drink.

Getting Back to Lyme Regis

Thanks to our splendid sponsor Lyme Rib Rides (http://www.lymeribrides.com) every swimmer will be whisked back to Lyme Regis for free. You can wrap up in a space blanket having had a hot drink and biscuits on the beach. You will need to re enter the water and swim a 40 yards to get into the boat. Then enjoy the fast lane back to Lyme after your swim.

There are lots of places to eat in Lyme Regis whether you want fish & chips, a snack or something a bit more substantial.
